STANDING IN THE GAP | Est. 2005

OUR WHY
INTERCEDE is motivated by love for our fellow man and the desire to see the world in which we live become a better place. We truly believe that by providing educational opportunities to poor communities we can and will make a positive difference in the spiritual, social, and economic lives of thousands of people, particularly youth.
THE STORY OF DUNCAN ZIRO
WHAT STARTED IT ALL
Duncan Ziro, a goat herder from the dusty rural bush of Kenya where many people live off of a dollar a day (crazy right?). In 2002, Duncan was fortunate enough to receive an invitation to attend one of the country's few universities. When the invitation arrived, there was much rejoicing in the village, though it was clear that a lack of finances was standing in his way. Thankfully, INTERCEDE, with the help of people like you, was able to make it possible for Duncan to achieve his wildest dreams.
Today, INTERCEDE continues to provide such opportunities for others, including John Chengo who finished his Bachelor's in Laboratory Technology and is now working on a Master’s degree.
